Braved the cold wind today. Returned all the cable boxes to TimeWarner. They were polite, didn't try a big sales pitch to keep me. However, when I got home I found a VM from TimeWarner. They said they were looking for valuable feedback.
I'm keeping my high speed internet connection. 60 mbps.

-7° outdoors, house 67°, crawl space 45° .. pellet stove @ 1.6 lb/hr so the FHA furnace runs every 45 mins. or so,

1,500 watt electric radiator heater running in the unheated front porch / mud room / workshop to keep this room & the laundry room @ 55 degrees..

It be cold and crunchy outside.

    * Getting really close to pulling the trigger on a 2nd pellet stove for the front rooms / opposite side of the house, gotta talk to the town 'founding fathers' about venting first though.

Haven't updated the alerts for my area yet. Still stuck on the wind warning from last night.

Forecast says 3-6 for my region for tomorrow. Supposed to get blood work in the AM........

Might just can it for another day!!

I am a BIG fan of having two stoves. Both run on low medium low and the house is very even temperature wise.

 Only potential rub is venting options are limited on that side of the house, it's a 'wall of windows' .. So any venting (to code) will be tricky.. translated = expensive.

The electric dryer vent location is a potential in-code exit, then straight up 20 ft. to above the 2nd story loft roof line,

The far corner in the front porch / mud room is a potential exit point, through the porch roof, hug the corner of the 2nd story loft outside -> above the roof line ..

I'm gonna need the blessing of someone in authority, else..

Next meeting is first week in January '17, got some time to price venting.. :faint:
