Travel safe Bob. We are estimated for up to a foot this weekend, we shall see, likely will have the pellet stove and smoke dragon going this weekend if it gets as cold as predicted. Awesome you have a good feline pal and Bless You for caring for it!! Ours is a pretty good girl, but I am pretty sure she is inbred. Great hunter but.....

Thanks Bob , but that's not a real fireplace . My Honey always wanted a fireplace mantle in that room . So I went to Lowe's and bought a mantle / fireplace surround kit stained it hung it on the wall , got some T & G bead board painted it black to cover over the drywall that gave the surround depth of field so it looks like an old fireplace .

Yeah, going down the switch route first. Connector seems OK.

At first I thought it was a higher gear not shifting, but now that I am paying more attention to shift points and RPM on normal shifting it does appear to be 2nd or 3rd gear where the issue lies.

Thinking back, I can remember the engine revving more than usual on shift from 2-3 on occasions over the past month or so. Not a ,lot but enough for me to notice it. A sticking 2nd clutch switch could cause this. Also these Honda trannys are temperamental to old fluid. Long shot there but its due for a change anyway-about 50K since last change.

I actually love that the roof dumps - the first year I was here roof raking an almost flat roof is a major chore and we had a lot of deep snows so I had to do it constantly. That goes double when there are eves on all 4 sides of the house (~150' of eaves to rake).

Kitty will recover more quickly than you probably expect. Rita had to have 3 teeth removed before I could take her home from the rescue league. I picked her up 2 days after the surgery and she had absolutely zero issues and never had an issue eating kibble (good thing as she won't touch canned).

Went into work and started staring at my two computer screens. After about an hour started getting light headed - headed towards dizzy. Boss made me turn off the computer for a while until I could get into my Primary Care doc. She told me to go home and not do ANYTHING for a couple of days. So I stayed of the computer all day yesterday (didn't even check email). Just doing a short stint on computer this morning, then will go rest my eyes.

Thanks to everyone for their concern - CleanFire called me last night to make sure I was okay since there was concern on here and it was noted I hadn't logged in yesterday. you guys are so great noticing my absence and worrying about me :handshake:

Won't be on computer long - just wanted to let everyone know I'm okay.

IJeeze, I just got here and trying to wade thru all the pages real quick and then get back off the computer (doctor's orders). Actually doctor said NO computer, but it was pure torture yesterday so am doing a limited stint this morning.

Huh, even if I had checked my email yesterday - wouldn't have seen yours for a couple of days as it went into my spam folder (only checked because of this post). I'll have to flag you as a GOOD sender!

Was going into DT's about 2 hours into my enforced rest. Once I get off here this morning, will be torture. Slept a lot yesterday as not only no computer, but nothing else you stare at (books, tv etc). I'm not so good at not doing the book thing, but I limited myself and did a lot of napping yesterday - slept more than I usually do total for several days.

Bog... Hope things are OK and that it's nothing serious.

Weather here is starting to get nasty again (RELATIVE TERM)

Another cold spell and more snow on the way.

Temps into the low teens by later in the week.

Going through the shells pretty good now.

Running about 40 pounds a day through the big Whit.

Come THUR/FRI we will no doubt be running both Whits to keep the shack warm.

Glad you are "somewhat" taking the doc's advice and I do know how that can be an issue at times but be a good girl, no screen time for a bit.
