Moved a little wood this morning and then my neighbor and I installed the casing and built and hung the doors on this end of the loft.

The far end or west end first.

Then the close end or East end we did today.

From inside the loft. It's a better fit than what the light in the picture makes it seem like.

They need trim boards on the outside, and those will be overlapped by a bit to keep them from swinging out. Swing in for safety.

Just went and plowed what I could at my commercial properties. About 2 inches of wet slop is all we had. I will be back out around 8pm to clean up and drop ice melt. Temps dropping to 10 overnight.

Cigarette lighter to 110 help? I'd like to plug my electric blanket in while in my truck. There are so many to choose from, and do I need a $50 one or will a $10 one do the job?

    I don't
I don't even know what the typical elec blanket draws for current. But read the fine print on those inverters, most can't do more than about 150 - 200watts plugged into the cig lighter. You will blow the tiny fuse in the power cord (usually replaceable) or the truck. 300w would likely be only directly connected to the battery.

I just checked my wife's blanket, 180w, less than I thought! But still make sure that inverter can handle that through the cig lighter. That's 15 amps @12V assuming 100% efficiency through the inverter which is def not happening.

My blanket is 180W as well. Awesome this inverter uses the same kind of fuses my Blazer does, and I have more than enough of the 25's from a short we could never find (horn/cig lighter/radio/air conditioning, if you use more than one at a time it pops LOLOLOL). I will test it this afternoon, and for once this was not delivered but bought in town so will be easier to return or upgrade. Thanks MM:) Here is what the box reads

    PART_1481665399082_IMG_20161213_144247720.jpg

And PS, finally got a box of some of the newer smaller fuses for the 05 Duramax, progressive insurance snapshot thingy for premium discounts has been popping a fuse.

    ;)

Like MM mentioned above, I have very strong one from years ago that could handle the blanket but only direct to the battery, and who knows when might have time to go through the hunting gear to find it. Then I bought a "travel blanket", yes it worked, but just barely, not warm enough. And the darn travel blanket is spot clean only, and has taken a full big gulp of soda. Heated seats for my behind and back, electric blanket and disposeable heat packs for hands and feet, Hope this works!

Should be pulling just shy of 18A with the blanket at full chooch assuming 85% efficiency. I'd keep a box of fuses handy.  I don't know about your truck but my aux power fuse in my truck is 20A.

Good deal, always used an inverter that has more capacity than the item has for watts. You'll be good then.

How many watts is the heating pad?
