I started in 2005 with a englander 25 pdvc, had that through half of 2013 when I finally got tired of replacing parts every year I bought a Castle Serenity and had that through about half of 2015 until I had the spot weld issue which Ardisam ended up replacing the stove but in the mean time I got a great deal on the Ravelli so jumped on it and that brings me up to date.

10 years...bought a PDVC back in '06, had that for a few years and then bought my EP. Had that running for a couple years then bought my Quad and turned my EP into my tester stove.

Started the pellet rodeo October of 1999 and it has been an interesting adventure. ;)

We bought a Quad 800 used the year my son was born(1999). Didn't want him to be cold with the wood stove yoyo or roast either. Figured he'd be sick all the time, So We starting looking for steady heat. Used it about 8 seasons and bought a breckwell bigE new(fall 2008). Wasn't happy with some of its quirks and sold it off the next season. Looked at a St Croix furnace, Tried to order one and was told it may take a while to get. Found a Enviro Omega on the net for a sweat deal. Took the plunge and had it shipped from Ohio. Works awesome and after a few tweaks has the house warmer than ever. Would buy another in a heart beat if I had too. Or maybe an Endurance 50F furnace.

No plans on leaving the pellet adventure anytime soon. But if we decide to winter in CT after we retire, May put in a heat pump and assist with pellet?? We will cross that one when we get there.

Pellets? Put in the P61a cellar dweller 1st week of January 2014 (about 1.5 months after moving here - the amount and cost of propane to heat this place was crazy in just that short a time). Put a used PDVC on the main floor fall of 2014 and it quickly went kablooie so bought a used 2008 St. Croix Hastings and installed that around October of 2014. Swapped out the Hastings for the current 2012 P43 fall of 2015.

1995! I don't remember the brand but I can find out, it's still running in our old house! St Croix is in the current house, thinking...2008.

My 1995 stove was a Natural Fire, also known as Earth Stove. Kind of a new thing then, the dealer told me he expected it to live for 8-9 years, but they really didn't know! It's still eating pellets!

I started with an old used Horizon Eclipse stove back in 2005 or so. I fought with that for several years on and off until I dragged it out of the house after a hopper fire. I went back to firewood only for the next season. I bought a US Stove 6041 in 2011 and it did the job, but was pretty noisy. In January 2013 I stumbled across my furnace on Craigslist and I've been running that since. That furnace was some of the best money I ever spent.

Bought a 25-PDVC in Dec. 07 when oil was $4.00/gal. Got tired of shoveling ash out of it and bought the P61 in March 08. Awesome stove.

Starting my 7th season here , a long time wood burner looking for alternatives , a google search led me to the dark side forum , where I learned a lot from the likes of Jay , STB , Dex , iMacman , Smokeshow ........ and others . Pulled the trigger on our 1st Harman .
To this day my Honey says it was one of the Best things we ever did

Liked the pellet world so much got a 2nd Harman for the Man Cave to replace the wood eater

Similar situation to Will's. Lifetime wood stove burner. Got the P68 installed November 2008, when oil price was out of control. Very happy with that stove right from the start. Burned the P68 on one side of the house and a wood stove on the other side of the house until December 2014, when the ALU did an EPA stove trade-up offer, so the wood stove was replaced by a P43 at that time. Very happy with that stove too.
