Hoping is all I got for this moment, was thinking of doing it myself if needed.

For sure, nothing says you can't build a custom one. My shop is almost done so once it is I see some serious rework for the Ol' 50F, I still have burn issues and low heat output issues. Still have a leak somewhere!

Better hurry up, winter is upon us! I'm heating with rye seeds mixed with Okies Platinum, so far so good besides buildup along my glass. Must be too light for my flame even when the air inlet is almost shut.

Mine doesn't have the newest upgrade of exhaust manifold. He got out before the middle manifold was even made (I had to buy mine but helped tremendously).

But lots of doors with glass in them (both with no air and with air wash) and lots of burn pot parts and the side ash wings that go next to the pot.

After my last post I got to thinking? Pretty sure I could make my own clean/inspection plate. A simple cut out and replace with a plate slightly larger and a homemade gasket from the sheet of lytherm I have :) I see a project at the end of this heating season!!

Oh yeah, trying to haul azz on the garage. Dad's been at it big time and I work on it on the weekends. My brother and I worked on it tonight until around 10 dealing with some finishing touches in the attic. Still waiting on the doors. The company I bought them from has been screwing me around. Not too happy with them right now.

Yeah. I putter with the 50F when I can, it's hard to test in the summer when it's hot lol. I tend to work on it in the winter months when I can test the changes. Also, this year has been a wash, between OT at work, the wife and I having the little one, the bathroom project, and the garage build, I've been buried up to my eyeballs in things eating up my time.

I have more means of BTUs that you can shake a stick at, so not too worried if the 50F isn't ready to rock and roll this winter. I'll play with it as I can. It's a bit of a hobby for me.

So the rye seed is blowing out of the pot? How do you like the heat off the blend of rye and wood pellets?

Hey Dex, will the manifold with the access hatch bolt on to all units? I thought that manifold only with stoves with the latest design in exhaust passage from the back of the stove up to where that manifold bolts on??

I have the last updated manifold for the older units that will bolt onto yours.

I can check to see if the new one will bolt up. But if you're sure it won't? It likely will not.

My (middle upgrade) manifold is a little larger and I could make my own access plate.

    Only on #5 heat setting it seems to be the time it accumulates and when the Auto clean activates. Must be the blocking the top two rows on the burnpot. More air comes through the bottom which my ashes seem to indicate;

Dex, a burnpot for a G version would be needed and a top portion of the burnpot where the pellets fall on to the pot. A extra ashpan could be nice to have too. Extension hopper would be another. A glass for the door or complete door, the list is sure getting bigger:picard:

Hmm, have to check it out. I thought for sure that it wouldn't fit but have to back track and look. I bought the higher flow manifold and I recall talk with Mark about the access hatch version. Thought it wouldn't fit the older stove but my memory is shot due to lack of sleep.

If I get some time I'll look back and see if I can find the email conversation about it.

Ah ok. That's not too bad then. Heat output is good though?

I second a need for a door. I think my door has some issues. I believe the old owner over heated the stove when his heat exchanger was blocked and warped the door. If I can't buy a new door, I may try and take it to a machine shop and just see if they can face it.

A pic on my ashes accumulating against my window with the rye seeds, I know my window is dirty:doh: Need more air volume to push the ashes away so back to the drawing board:picard:

I'll take your word for it.

I was just stating that my newer manifold that bolts to the old style has enough room to make my own access plate

I'll see what all parts he has and take pics then get back with all of you. Been super busy at work so it will likely be end of the week or possibly next week. But he has been sitting on these parts for years. So they are not going anywhere

I get some of those but not as thick. just around 1/4" thick or less but doesn't seem to take up the entire pot. Different Pellets leave less of a chunck.

No worries. I plan to swing by my old dealer and see what all he has. I'll take some pics and see what he does on pricing.
