Side note- An old Polish farmer my dad was friends with when I was a kid growing up on Long Island would gut and hang his deer in the barn for a month (cold weather).... the chest cavity might even spurn some mold, but scraped clean, would butcher up to the tastiest venison around them parts.....
It will run if I dump gas in it, not timing. Can't remember the brand. Taking it to the guy next week.
Good, fresh gas in the tank? And not that crap corn gas they make us buy here in Iowa. Had the same problem with a water pump a week ago. Had gas left in it from summer. Fought that thing for an hour. Finally dumped that gas out, put in fresh pure gas, gave it a whiff of boom juice, (ether), popped off and ran like a top. That had to be the problem, right?
I ran my ariens snowblower today, that started with a 3/4 tank of e10 leftover from last year. I used it once last year early in the winter. I topped it off with fresh e10 today. No problems at all, well no running issues due to ethanol. Just the recoil cord that snapped last week, but that had nothing to do with ethanol. I don't use fuel treatment, startron, Stabil, seafoam, none of that. I've tried those things out the last 20+ years we've been running ethanol, and none of them did anything different than using nothing but the gas. All that happened by using those gas treatments was drain dollars.
