Rich do you have the AWF labeled bags or the ones from Lowe's under the "Premium Hardwood" label? The Lowe's bagged ones are dusty as all get out for me but burn really well.

My brother in law bough six tons of AWFWP. Dusty and don't slide for him. But are real nice burning.

got several bags of them here but have not burned any yet, they are buried in my stash ,but I won't have any feed issues on the Francesca because the sides in the hopper are so steep.

I slept in and it was only 15ºF at 7:30. A bit over 20ºF now.

Got a shock when I looked in the stove at 8:00 AM. It was freakin empty............. Put the bag in at 3:30 PM yesterday. Less than 12 Hrs by my count. Me no likely these 2 bagger days! So used to adding a bag and not having to touch it for a day or two will be missed!! Hope it warms sometime soon!! Didn't take any chances on the next fill!

On another note: Filled it to the top with 3 bags of Hamers and they all fit with room to spare. Might have got another 15 to 20 pounds in it. They be dense for sure!!

Bottomed out at 9 degree here but the house temp held at 73 , I actually shut the stove down because upstairs was at 74 and climbing so backed the thermostat to 73 with a 2 degree swing # 8 on the Lux . Anyway getting back to premium hardwood I love the shine and slickness they're like little marbles . I definitely will balance off my stash next year with either Cubex or Hamer's .
