    No springs on a 461 handle ,are you thinking of a 441 maybe ? the 461 has the same gastank and rubber motor mounts as a 460

    Kenis, I am going to let you run my 550, just so you know what they run like :drool:. On a serious note, I am a big sucker for 70cc saws, and cant blame you there. I have owned most every Stihl model made, but never a 460! :eek:

    It is that indeed, and it was actually a parts saw when I got it. That saw actually has a name... "Precious" lol. I have a pretty strong arm for pulling saws, but that one ya have to be in a bad mood to pull on. Just shy of 200psi, and she bites back from time to time. Just have to swear a little as your pulling. lol

    Never bought a 461. Have a stock like new XPW, and a pretty hot XPW. Actually, the ported one might munch on a 66, haven't ran it side by side with one yet... but she's a little on the wild side.
    Did buy a 10mm (haven't been inside to verify, but near positive) 044, that feels like its been ported (hasn't). Never ran a stock saw that felt worked over like that, should have grabbed one way sooner.

    I wish! That was a steal. Made a couple bucks off of that 365 I got from the same guy though. One of the local tree guys got the 461, I don't know if he still has it or not but can find out for sure.
