That's what's on my agenda today. I was going to get one last no snow on the ground cut and haul wood day in the woodlot. The snow is coming tonight. 6-9".

Well, I have to prepare for the snow, at the house. That means haul a bunch of wood up to the house from the stacks. Take a look at the snowblower, as the recoil rope broke, but it does have electric start, so there's really no big issue. I think I'll get another tarp on the edge of my patio stack.

I already cleaned ashes out of the quadrafire and re chooched the stove. Drinking some mtn dew motivational juice. It's chilly out there. 21°
    * Now the winter storm warning has popped up. 7-10" for all of southern Wisconsin.

Well we moved and restacked about 7 face cord under the covered porch. I also moved about 1/2 of a face cord into the basement. So I guess I have about 1- 1/2 face cord down there now. The J.D. 210 C made it nice for moving that much wood. But, I'm tired out. Chilly out there, about 21 but a feels like 16 with the little breeze. Time to relax in the warmth.

Helped 99 with the annual homemade ravioli tasks today. Finished over 200 so far and some more tomorrow.
I was hoping to get to the cottage...we'll see.
We have a house party this evening that I hope will get over with quick.

Hauled a load of wood up to the old folks up the road...and got another load on the trailer to bring in to my house tomorrow if there's a break in the wintry mix they're calling for.

I'm all kinds of tired. Hoping to go to bed by 10 tonight.

Had a pretty busy day today.

Sat in my treestand from 6-9am, took little piney to have breakfast with Santa, went and got a Christmas tree, started working on a saw my buddy dropped off and ended the day at a friends farm for a gender reveal party "piney style"

He fired at a powder filled target with his m1. After finding out it was a boy, the rest of us guys sent a few thousand rounds down range. Pew pew pew pew! :rootintootin:

Gud monin... :coffee::coffee:... middle grandson is 3 today. Headed down fer the party. Fun. Then, a celebration of life on the way home... we lost a favorite cousin last week. It was a blessing as she's had no quality of life for way too long. Ah... the cycle of life. Today will be a very good day. You guys have one too... :)
