Got one side done(or so I thought. Hit the next side to where the deck is(I can use a step ladder on the deck to clean that spot.) and relized the wet ones are frozen to the bottom of the gutter. So at best its about 1/2 clean?? :picard:

Gonna wait for a warmer day to hit it again. At least I got some of them out. :emb:

I had to fully wrap the chimney cap w/ fireplace screen mesh, and extend it down below the cap -> around the clay tile here Pete, to help control high wind draft & keep the critters out. .. And they still tried their darnest to get in this past spring. :picard:.. And ended up nesting / inhabiting the front porch all Spring/Summer. We should charge rent to all the wildlife that decides to just "shack up" here for months at a time..

(That sucks about the bird, but wouldn't beat yourself up over it too much.)

We have two young ones and they both love taken the tree apart. So far its only been ornaments being removed. And the tree is still standing. Expect to see it down one day.

We took all the breakables off now!! JIC No tinsel or garlin either.

I was at Sam's Club and checked on my tire order. They are in, but they are too busy to put them on. I have to be up there tomorrow at 10 if I want to see if they can work in a walk in visit. I would like to have them on before the snow storm. Not that I'll be going out in it. I do have an appointment Monday, but no way will I drive in slop that I really don't have to. It will be a wait and see thing.
I have many hand maid ornaments from Germany. Since the cats came, they remain in their packing crates. My kids want to inherit them. I have found lots of other things that look nice, but don't brake from being knocked off the tree. I have one left that was my grandmother's. That one is locked up in a glass cabinet along with a hand carved stone nativity scene. Anything nice, I won't leave out for the cats to find. Can't let material things get in the way of taking care of the pets.
