Hey guys, not sure if this is okay to post if not please remove , but I thought I'd try. My sister in law set up a gofundme page to cover expenses for a potentially long stay in another city (about 500 miles away, in Calgary, Alberta) where she has no family, while my brother in law Roy has surgery/recovers. I think total time is around 4-5 weeks, and the surgery date phone call basically came out of the blue a few days ago.

They live in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan (Canada obviously), about 25 minutes away from me.

If you could find a way to donate a few $$ it would be greatly appreciated. If times are tight, even a prayer counts. I feel hat in hand here, but it's for a good cause so my pride takes a back seat. And like I say, if all you have is a prayer, that's okay too. Roy is gonna need those as well.

saskwoodburner you might get better results if people could send direct to you. Many mistrust web sites and pleads for dollars.

I'm not sure exactly how I'd do that? If someone wants to send an emt I could get it to Roy and Renee on their behalf? Kinda thing?

I don't have paypal, but my better half does. From time to time she orders things off e-bay or amazon? and such. I'm just insulating some windows, but I'll be back in a bit with her info.

I didn't realize that's how go fund me works, as it's my sister in law who set it up. I'm just trying to help.:)

I'm not sure how the exchange works, but I would think they would convert it to the receivers country. The American dollar is strong compared to ours, I looked and the American dollar equals $1.32 Canadian.

I might add, if you're thinking of donating, but are concerned I'm a "Nigerian prince" kind of thing, send me a private message and I can provide more info as to who I am, or the better half, or Roy and Renee.
