His prices aren't what I want to pay this time of year. I only use Him and BT during spring price deals. My beast isn't picky and I save lots of cash this way. I do pass on people with picky stove and ones that need super hot stuff. I got to save as much cash as possible to afford top notch brew and toys we use during warm season! Only rocket fuel I need goes in mine or the boats tank!
Rutroo, No pellets at HD until Febuary 18th!!! Both Lowes and TSC had junk! I miss read her text. It was TSC and not HD that had the North Americans. Lowes had NA and GS.
Yeah, We seeing a logistic caused shortage of sorts , Due to weather related issues(cold, snow and such)! It just hit my neck of the woods too.

Just came from HD in Rochester. Saw a woman with AWF in her cart..good sign. Went outside and there is a guy sweeping up about half a pound of spilled pellets- all out. Wasnt a wasted trip as NH is sponsoring an instant rebate program on energy efficient bulbs. Got 4 LED 60W equivalent bulbs at 10 bucks off each one making them 4.97 each . Love these new soft white LED over CFL as they dont need to warm up plus they use less energy while lasting longer, but way too expensive for me to buy until this program started.
Went to my local Lowesand no pellets. Went to my local HD and they had 12 bags if Lignetics and about a pallet of Lee Energy and that's it until next week. They are now out if Liggies due to a certain piggy....oink
Scored FSU's at HD today, they had about 12 ton of those and 5 ton of ****gulp**** North Americans. Our local pellet house, Cozy Barn, had only Easy Heats in stock yesterday. Needless to say I walked away quickly. Their Keystone's and Turman's are coming in this week. My man Will is supposed to stop tomorrow to oink up some FSU's.
Why is it that up in Maine and down in PA, FSU are avaiable. But yet smack dab in the middle I see only stove chow? Although I wouldn't pass totally on chow, I do prefer the CA made FSU over chow. They seem to be a tick hotter with about the same or slighly less ash content. Almost 2 seasons since I seem them last! Errr, Please send some to CT already!
They had them here for a short time last year too. Might score more tomorrow since I'll be right down the street from there for work....oink
Jay you might need to pay a visit to the HD pellet purchaser and have a "conversation" with him or her......just a thought...lol
I did early in the fall when all they had was GS. I had to about beg to get PTL's. I try again if I can catch him. He's only there during the day M-F and I have the same hours. But its going to have to be on a day off I suppose.
Nice to hear somebody bitchin about pellets we have in Maine that you can't get. Usually it's the other way around. The last couple of years HD has had them at the beginning of the year and when they're gone, that's it. They must have begged pretty hard to get more this year.
I did score 15 bags today Thanks to Steve O they only had 1 ton + left as of noon time Pics so it did happen
