We have a cold and frosty morning out there. It is suppose to be sunny for most of the day. I can't get a boot on my foot so if it snows, I guess I will be wearing a bag over my sock. Working on the last third of my sock knitting but other projects will take its place today. Everyone have a great day.

Snowing here, wasn't in the forecast two days ago that I know of. Waiting to hear from Direct TV. They are coming to do an install. Switched again from TimeWarner. What a game this is. Now I hear if I get an AT&T cell phone, they will keep the price low the second year. That is the best news I have had in a long time about the very costly services. Wife won't have anything to do with just having web based TV.

The bag would be over my sock and then I put my foot in my bunion shoe. The shoe has thick soles but no toe protection. A bag over the whole thing would be wearing a "crazy carpet" for sure.

Not done trimming this first door yet. They are pretty big doors! Slow but sure. Other one is built now and we will hang that tomorrow. I hope.

plus you can stream DTV on AT&T devices for free -no data limits. Not that I've ever desired to watch TV on my phone but if you run a hotspot or tablet it could be a game winner for folks that bundle

Same here. Gotta make the dark trip to the wood pile tonight. I'm needing hickory and beech tonight through Friday at least.

Also if you have a smart phone or tablet, on ATT, you can watch all your direct TV on on the phone without using any data. Pretty slick.

You'll find that unless it's snowing or raining really really heavy, that your picture will be sharper with direct TV ( any satellite really) over cable.

Mornin' Hoarders, hoping all is well. Breakey ritual underway and then out to the garage. Installing a new wall furnace out there today just in time before the really cold weather sets in. Sounds like we are going to miss a lot of the snow that is predicted for the next several days as it heads west to east. Me thinks winter has now arrived. Everyone have a great day and stay safe.................

Interesting conversation at work this morning:

D (upon learning I was cooking a sweet potato for breakfast): I’ve never had sweet potato.

    Me: Never?

    D: No

Me: not even for Thanksgiving, as in sweet potatoes and marshmallows?

    D: No. I’ve avoided it

    Me: ???

D: I don’t know what it tastes like so assume I would hate it

Me: ???? Interesting concept, I’ve never tasted it so therefore it must taste awful.

I ate it, or didn't eat, and Mom made exactly enough to feed the 4 of us (no seconds, no full plates - just what we really needed) so I tried everything and only remember not liking the octopus and anchovies enough to touch them again (fortunately, those were one-time experiences for Mom anyway). Okay, there are things I disliked and preferred not to eat, but I would eat them including liver and onion, raw onion and pepperoni. Funny thing is that the last 4 years pepperoni has become something I like and buy for myself (and eat straight out of the container) - strange what hormone changes do to your taste buds.
