    Had to replace the burnpot in my Revolution last year, had one made at the sheet metal place, think it was $60 - $70 ....................

    Top of the line $500.00 a sheet likely not that stuff. But far better than most burn pots.

    Burned a lot more than a ton, still looks good . All I'm sayin' ...................

    Hope replacement is better.I keep thinking for that kind of money,it should have been stainless,compared to what other burn pots cost.

    Yes they all should be.

    But one can get by with a good low carbon steel.

    That high grade stuff is overkill in most cases. For example 625 stuff is for nuke reactor and rocket work normally. Good chit $$$$$$ all over the place.

    My old pot that has a split in its flange is fine on it's floor after better than 35 ton. The replacement went south less than 40 bags. I bought it last year installed it this fall as soon as I could get down and back up again. Been a strange 5 months for me no lawn mowing and there will be no snow blower use either. I still have, but do not tend my chickens. Am swallowing 5 meds. everyday. Waiting to get off one possibly 2 spent 9 days in a hospital. Am once again on my own two feet and causing trouble on here.

    I sent only one to Don, HR sent my replacement pot to Don as well, I'm toasty the Stove handles my den and the boiler whatever esle needs heat.
