Not this brand. I've used straight silicone spray, and another brand in the past. Both worked OK. This one is polymer-based, so I wanted to see if it was better or not. If I remember, I'll post a review IF we get anymore sn*w. I'm hoping that I won't have anything to report all winter.

I hope we don't get any either but let me know how it works if you do. The snow sticking to the shovel pizzes me off to no end.

Had a few inches of whine to clean up after work. Likely would just melt off next few days but figured I would make sure the rig is working right after re tapping the spark plug hole.

    All A-OK

Seems like I am not the only one as most driveways around here were cleared out too. I hear my neighbor's blower out there now.

We need a sn*w blower smiley

Nearly lost it coming up my hill this noon time. Only a inch of snow, but it was slippery. I'm going to need to take the all seasons off and put studded snow tires on. Our road is up and down a steep hill. Very few houses on it and we are the last house in. town gets to us, but we are not a priority. School bus won't come in on this road for fear of sliding down the hill and out into the highway.

You got it, brother. In a pinch, you might try regular auto wax, or spray furniture polish (it worked on the hopper walls on my pellet roaster).

Just had my roaster's convection fan thermal off didn't want to pull it and do the clean and lube for awhile yet, tight quarters and I don't like the down and up anyway. The stove is back on and I made it fine.

The last one is me.. :picard: Thanks for reminding me Larry! :D

Only a few inches (3 or so) here today, sn*wb!&%$r started right up, but turned it off, grabbed a shovel & got to work - needed the exercise anyways..

Was warming up in the afternoon, mid-30's by the time I was done. (When it gets down to the low teens, the machine is doing the work.)

Keeping a good thought for a speedy recovery MtDew, hope the elbow feels better .

I've used that too, and it works pretty good if the parts are dry when applying it, but the wife gets mightily peeved when the cooking spray disappears.. :heidi:

That I have not tried Pam yet, we don't use that at the house.

I have a can of teflon spray that I use for my hopper that I can try too.

Yep, that's the stuff I have - used it last year and it works fine. Used straight silicone spray the year before and that was good too. The only issue is having to reapply it thur the season. If only it could be once and done until next year

I shoveled my driveway. A couple of inches isn't worth getting the snow blower out for.
