    I'm off tomorrow. Let it $now! :D

Doing snow blower prep now. Topped up the tires and changed oil. This snow blower can legally drink this year.

First winter I lived here I missed the driveway by about 15 feet in a nasty snowstorm. Not fun, especially when I made a call to a buddy to come yank me out. He is a Dodge owner and I'm a Chevy guy, so I got an earful about that for at least 10 minutes.

I live on a fairly busy road (county highway in farm country) and people haul azz, rain/snow or shine. I've almost gotten rear ended multiple times turning into the drive. The markers give me a target to aim for. Winter ain't over until I mow one of them down.

My driveway is at the crest of a small hill. People get impatient and try to pass right in front of my house, not looking for traffic coming the other way. Can't tell you how many times people end up in my front ditch or the field next door. I saved the number for the county sheriff in my cell so I can call when I hear the sound of someone pulling a Bo Duke into the field next to me.

Should have be outside getting ready for the white stuff - ended up pulling the side panels off the stove & finishing the deep clean maintenance, oiling motors & auger shafts, vacuuming interior, brushing out the Heat Exchange tubes, the interior convection air passages, and pulling off the tangential room air blower, it's been sounding louder lately, and was a dusty, furry mess in there.

Used LiquiMoly MOs2 to lubricate all end shafts, and Anderol 465 for the motor assemblies..

Used a new brush I picked up @ Walmart a few weeks back, a 'Refrigerator Brush', in the cleaning section, about 5 bucks..

Best 5 bucks I've spent in awhile, it cleaned the stainless interior air passage tubes of the Heat Exchanger completely to smooth inside, getting another 3-5 degrees out of the Heat Exchange exit w/ the convection fan / passages / tubes being clean.

    Pics..

Light flurries tis all. Might of got an inch if that! Yet there were a few spin outs. :loco:

I think this was the thread we were chatting on hopper capacity? Anyway I got to find out this Am how many mine would take from empty!!

Don't ask! I caught it before the pots flew!! The beast will hold 3 with some corner stuffin and the lid still closed. Might take an extra 10 pounds but barely. Filled with Natures Own.

I knew I was missing something before I hit the hay!

There were cars all over the place today. I drive about 20 miles on rt 146 south in the am. Saw no less than 8 cars off the road. I took it slow and enjoyed myself a coffee on the ride:coffee:

I need to put axle bearings in mine....
Probly wait until a blizzard is forecast,
and then do it that morning.
At least that is how I "usually" plan things....
At least I have the parts... Surprisingly...

Woke up to about 2" of white crap on the ground. No, I don't have the extension cord run to start the sn*wblower, and no, I didn't get the slippery spray stuff for the chute yet. Not happy with this revoltin' development.:headbang:

EDIT: I also never filled the gas can. As you can see, I was hoping that we were going directly into spring. Guess not.

Really guys :bug:? Am I the only one that was prepared for inclement weather in early November? I sprayed the chute and blade with silicone, filled the tank and added treatment, started it up and let in run for a few, checked oil and brought to the front of shed. Also sprayed down the snow shovels with silicone at the same time.
