Evidently, she took offense to my question earlier.........it's been snowing for almost 2 hours.
Was in the shop making a couple cuts on the rear door brickmold, and when I opened the door, there were big ol' fluffy flakes coming down......still are.

been snowing all day. We have about 5" so far. Sorry to dark for a picture. It's still snowing here. Haven't seen a plow yet. No worries I leave at 5 a.m. Da Chevy has 4wd. Very wet and heavy snow tho. I shoveled twice.

C'mon now....you know as well as I do that for whatever reason, State of Wisconsin won't plow overnight.....They're notorious for that!

None of them do. They don't want to pay overtime keeping a shift over. Happens here all the time. Used to be 4/7 plowing when we first moved here.

The plows will still be out at night here....just not as many as on the day shift, but nonetheless, they are still out there at night.

They'll plow the main roads, but if it starts before midnight we won't see a plow till after 8am. The salt and sand truck comes out early on along with the liquid salt prayer that they send out when snow is imminent. I guess it helps. 30 years ago we had one town guy that plowed all 254 houses in our development. He slept at the highway dept. building between plows. I remember him saying he'd work 36 hours plus. Those were the good old days. The only problem I had was him leaving six feet of snow at the end of the driveway. Bought a snowblower right after that. Glad I'm retired now.
