Pex if ok but it is very difficult to make it clean and straight like good old copper. Pex will last longer for sure. As for shark bits I use them for temp fixes until I can shut done to do the proper fix. The cost of a shark bite fitting does t not make up for the extra time of doing it properly imho. I have been a plumber for 19 years now
Yeah, copper sure is pretty when done right. Doesn't matter if you get the straight lengths of pex....they still can't be made to go completely straight. The rolls, forgetaboutit. I still hate plumbing.
HUGE log home. There was a lot of stuff goin' on in that place. Guy ran out of money, so when he quit paying, we never went back. No idea if the electrician ever finished.
