An Open Letter to All You Beautiful Bastards: I just finished page 114 of the private message and I must say I am still beside myself in disbelief. I would like to thank each and every one of you, but a special thanks to DexterDay Shawn Curry and that lying bastard schlot I find it hilarious that while I extending hospitality toward my guest you were all dying with anticipation and thinking that schlitz, I mean schlot, and I were reading the PM and maniacally laughing at you all anxiously waiting. And then you blew up his phone until he had no battery left to upload the video LOL! But the gifts were too much. The money, the gift certificate, but most of all the ice cream dishes-- we will treasure them always! Seriously, you guys couldn't have picked a better restaurant as The Branding Iron is literally next door to The Gun Bank, where I do most of my shopping. And the money, all that for a new computer? Wow! I will get something great with this and you guys are going to have to be patient because I have a few things up my sleeve! I will probably also repair our desktop computer which is anything but stable at this point, and it will continue to do proud service to you folks at FHC. But yes, this will be a laptop-- I like to be comfortable whilst I work and don't have or want any special work space set up to do my computing from. Thanks man, your always there to help...and fast as well. I am glad you will not only be able to get a big fast computer to manage this place but allow you to shore up that desktop as well. And don't forget maybe help with what ever was going on last week or this week...not enough back up or whatever?
Grizzly Adam , now you know why I wanted an address posted someplace. Any donations I make will always be done anonymously. It doesn't matter if it is a charity, someone in need, or for a forum for example. If you look at my post (#12) The spirit of giving, and the spirit of greed. And #36 here: Once You Go LumberJack Shirt It's kind of hard to make an anonymous donation when someone on the forum knows who sent it, be it swags or whomever? So why not look into putting the address where someone could find it? Be it on the checkout page or even the title page for the forum.
For this cause it was possible to do that and I believe some did. If you want it kept private, that is fine.
Really the best way to contact us anonymously is by email, there are anonymous email services or you can make a throw away address. The problem is that we don't have a real address since this is a club and not an actual business. We haven't ever had the need to receive mail so it's not cost effective to have a P.O. Box-- the money that would show up in it might even be outweighed by rental fees. What's more, I don't know that I want my P.O. Box posted publicly and swags probably doesn't want his address where everyone can see it. And if we just had an address posted, or had a p.o. Box-- what if the person that check that box is the person you are raising money for? But I will work out a better way for you to contact a few of us staff, so you can have your pick of 2-3 of us anonymously.
