Ya my neighbors already think I'm a redneck, now they're gona be convinced I am. I will be piling everything I can up so I can grab as much as possible. I'll worry about splitting later.

Maybe I'll have to put the hoarders to work at the G2G

Dex I asked if we could go back out Sumday but this dude is old shool and said no. Seriously though any day next week we can get in there even after you get out of work and get a ton cut in a hurry. I cut a pickup load of primo stuff in an hour from leaving my house to being back home.

I have a guy coming Sunday from Buffalo to buy a Pellet stove. Have not set a time yet, so it may not be feasible anyway.

But would love to make it down. :)

With when you get off work I could even go over a while before and get a bunch cut. I should have my trailer back early next week too so would work out well. We could get you a few cord at least in an afternoon.

Already down on the ground too! Talk about easy pickings. I'm jealous. I'd love to find someone to let me clean up after being logged. That's a nice score.

I wish you could hit the like button multiple times on that one firecracker.......after a good day of wood cutting and a shower, then sitting in the house that evening where it is nice and toasty......just not much of a better feeling than that.

I can get a decent bit on my 14' tilt trailer so when I get that back I'll be able to get a lot more. Also with as cold as it is I don't think many guys will be out cutting. They aren't as nuts as we are. It was 0* out here yesterday.

Couldn't agree more! Love that 460, man that thing makes such short work of bucking it's amazing. I live about 10 minutes away from there and I was able to cut a whole load and bee back home in an hour.

I've been back and forth all evening and this morning.....don't know if I can get into my latest cutting area because of the snow but I know the squirrels are out there so I'm going to go try to join the the nuts and give it a try......watch for the evening news on my success.

I have considered that Dave but I might be selling that truck in the near future and I'm a bit hesitant to invest more $$. Do you think chains will really let it crawl in and out of a hilly area with a foot of snow on it? I've done chains for tractors, big and small, plenty of times but have never tried them on a pickup.

Thanks for the offer Swags. I gave it a good college try and decided best not to get myself into a position that I would have to get the tractor to get me out. I just cleared a path from the shed to the processing area and have the splitter ready to work. I have several places around here to cut just can't get in right now and I have a lot of splitting that needs done.
