My wife loves wood heat, but doesn't want stacks all over our yard. Thankfully, my buddies fam owns a construction business and he, his dad, and I share the work load on heating with wood. They've got the equipment (trailers and bobcats) and we share the costs of a splitter we purchased a couple years back. They also have tons of room for stacks and processing so I have to haul about 4 blocks to my house. I do have room for a couple cords, but the area is completely blocked from wind and gets little to know sunshine due to trees and privacy fence. Here's a couple pics of our stacks, processing area, and a trailer load of ash, mulberry, and some locusts headed to replenish what I've burned this fall and winter.
