Nothing like sharing a dark crawl space with baby spiders.

 

Relaxing home today. Cleaned up some leaves with the boys. All done for this year. Watchingfootball and waiting for some stuffed peppers and potatoes to be ready

 

I moved the pile of big Austrian pine rounds I was given as part of taking that tree down from my neighbor's on Friday.

I also hauled a yard cart full of slightly punky beech up to the garage.

Now I need to find another working timer for the laser light for the house. It has to turn off after 4 hrs of use, for 1 minute, then it can go on again after that. The problem is the power stake with its own timer will need another timer onto it just for the laser.

Not quite this bad, but...

 

I sense a National Lampoon Christmas Decoration Scene coming...........................

 

Nowhere near that epic.

Just 1 single timer , plugged into a 6 outlet timer stake with 1 cord to 2 lit fake trees, and the other cord to a green Lazer shower light.

 

Make sure you know where the cat is before you fire er' up.................................

Well it felt good to go down and walk through the grocery store, get home, unpack and do some cooking BUT the foot didn't like it. Spent the afternoon on the couch and we are now going to watch the second half of the Grey Cup game. Go, Stampeders, Go!!

 

Ok FHC, how we fixing this?

 

We got a tree after I picked up and banged out ~25trees at Lowes(no local lots here) - prices are obscene this year, I'm guessing from the drought.

Ran out of lights (300LEDS ain't cutting it this year) and this tree is thirsty drank 1/2 a bottle since ~2pm


I broke down and gave into the GF's urge to buy chit for the front yard that no one but us will see - For the record I hate colored lights but this little tree looked really cool in the store
, and the obligatory $50 Frosty that will fall apart in a month

Well, after a very exciting overtime finish, our team lost. Very suspenseful game.

 

The wiring and light project went well. I put in my first three way light switch so the lights can be turned on or off from either end of the carport.
