A good morning to you firewood hoarders. If your place is anything like it is here, you must be enjoying your wood heat this morning! :fire:

Ahhhhhh. A nice cold can of sugar, water, and caffeine! The Pepsi taste good.. Time for a hot shower and to find all my warm work clothes. It's a chilly one this morning but the barn project can not wait. Horses need the shelter ASAP. They have blankets on them, good hay, and a little grain each day. Wifey takes good care of them.

Mornin' Hoarders. A chilly 19 here this a.m. Winter weather has officially arrived. We have finally got ahead of the snow storm mess @ the base and can now catch up on some missed sleep. Gotta finish cleaning up the Ponderosa and then bring a few bucket loads of wood up from the lower shed to the rack on the back patio. The rest of the day is "chill out" time to recharge the batteries. Everyone stay safe and get ready for the "Big Feed". As a side note, the SW Florida Eagle pair have had the arrival of their first egg for the 16-17 nesting season @ 5:03 pm yesterday. 24hr. nest cam is up and running.................

Short day of work today, then off for 4.

40 and raining here. Looks like an all-day soaker, but I'm hoping it stops raining around 3 so I can get in the woods and try to put a deer down.

Overcast and probably raining today. campinspecter has house chores to catch up on. I am chilling on the couch today to catch up on the knitting. I must remember to pay the house insurance though. I don't want to total what we spent yesterday. It was a good day shopping - absolutely crappy day weather wise. The dogs came along and were really, really good. Only one stop was such that they got soaked for their pit stop. The rest managed to be between heavy rain.

I made a run to town so I could pick some items up, when I came back I used the tractor to move some snow from the area we put wood in.

Yesterday I did some roof raking so when we get the rain everything will be opened up.

I think we'll put more wood in today just so we can stay ahead of the weather. We still have another four face cord of cherry we had for the shoulder season this year.

Gotta unload and stack the trailer load of elm I processed yesterday. I also have to get the rear brake pads done on the driver's side of the 4runner today.

I was waiting for the rain to let up before tackling the wood. I think that finally happened.

All siding on back of barn done! Time to bring the fence over to the back two corners of the barn and get the spoiled ones into shelter.

    Pics tomorrow.

Got my trailer unloaded and all that wood stacked.

    Gooder.

I got the 4runner all situated to do the driver's side rear brake and rotate that side's tires.

Just need to relax a few minutes after that hour of stacking. Then I'll get the yota done. I'm a bit sore after processing that wood yesterday.
