Maple sniffing around the snow. Then came running! I thought she was gonna have liftoff the way her ears were out!

 

Looking comfy there! I saw a dog just like him on my drive home. Owner was leaving his house, and the dog was in a fenced in area, barking, looking sad.....

 

Holy cuteness!

 

Lila, our semi tame cat that came to us in June is adjusting well. I don't think she has ever seen winter, snow, or cold before. She is staying in the house most of the time the last few weeks. Much less sucker punches at the unsuspecting dogs and learning to retract her nails while playing with our daughter ( bogieb ) She is finding entertainment in the forts lil one makes with blankets while lil one is in kindergarten during the day, and of all things......likes to chase and batt the dogs tennis balls. Among other kitty interests.

Still a bit confusing letting the dogs in and out of the house, the cat likes to sit at the window door and watch outside but Big Blondie dog still thinks she is a chase toy outside of the house and they both know that Its all getting worked out, today I propped the kitty on my shoulder before I opened the door and even though she reacted frightened with darling dogs dancing around to go out, she purred up there while I opened the door

Yikes, she really was a kitten when she had her litter this spring when she showed up here, she is almost 50% bigger and double the weight now.

On a side note, we were filling the cat bowl while rushing out of the house for an appt last week and lil one spilled alot of food. Of course we let the dogs clean it up, right?!? Dog's had all night. Oh well, we all survived.

I love it! I know all our furry friends will eat well!

 

He'll run around in 20ft circles for about 5 minutes, then he wants wood stove!

Maple on the other hand, I'll go out working, she runs around, comes back to check on me, runs away sniffing stuff, etc. Her sniffer works best when it's cold out.
