    We received another 6-8 inches of snow after I had come in for the day yesterday so I just came in from cleaning out the driveway and making some tracks with the tractor to the wood stacks.

    This storm made a mess and stopped barn work for a while. Spent part of the day trying to clean things up in and out of the barn today after getting a little sleep. Then we put up some temporary barriers of rough cut 2X6s around two horse stalls and making one big one out of it. The two horses get along well and will stay warmer that way. We will begin siding tomorrow. Hopefully. And hopefully get fence post in to tie fence to barn when siding is complete on back side of barn.

    it was probably a post-election reminder for people to stay out of the weeds and keep us cavemen civilized

    We had a real busy evening helping my son's dojo pack 500 turkey dinners. There was a food drive and monetary collection for the past few weeks. There must have been over 120 members and familes working in assembly line fashion making this happen. The dinners will get distributed to families in need tomorrow. It was a great way to kick off the Thanksgiving holiday.
