    It was wicked cold this morn but time was running out and I was half froze, long story short...I nailed a button buck o_O, looked bigger when it was running...:) Small but in the hand not in the bush anymore...Yum deer heart for dinner....:thumbs:

    My co-workers rave about it. There are a ton of good cuts on a deer. No need for me to eat a heart. Maybe I'll try it one day. Until then I'll keep giving them to co-workers.

    Took me awhile to eat heart because I was eating the heart of an animal and it freaked me out but I like to eat everything and not waste if I kill it sooo...I finally tried the heart and never looked back...

    Actually I like my meat pure and unadulterated...Just fried in cast iron fry pan with real butter...:)

    That's how my Pops did it the onions and spuds were in a separate cast pan :yes:

    I won't eat deer organs, even hearts.

    I gift those to the wildlife. Wolves, bear, ravens, eagles, yotes, and whatever else wants it.

    I get plenty from the good parts of the deer.
