Had a lovely BFST at the local watering hole, then came home and decided that since the rain had not started as yet that it would be a great time to swamp out and service the big whit.

Seeing as how I did not clear it at seasons end this past spring it was pretty mungy.

We don't get the rust issues many of you do, but the ash buildup was heavy.

Baffles were nearly full and the pipe (4 foot horiz. run) was at 1/2 full.

Oiled the draft fan bushing and checked stuff over inside the cabinet.

A good high speed howler with the leafer and she is good to go.

Colder weather is coming and we are ready.

    Even washed the "Winders"

Big Whit takes far more work to clean it, but puts out twice the heat as the little Whit.

Lots more fun cleaning things and giving them the leafing treatment when its not pouring down sideways.

I assumed it was breakfast and beers. That's what I would be doing at a watering hole early in the morning.
