Thoughts With Those Who Lack Heat

Heard about the problems out east with ice storms and service interruptions. Governor from some state said avoid alternative heating sources. Pretty sure he's not talking about wood stoves.

 

Being a guvnor, I'm sure he meant it'd be far better to freeze to death than to come up with any non-guvmint regulated form of heat…

 

He would probably prefer it if you went to a goberment provided shelter for indoctrination

 

Maybe he is refering to not burning camping stoves and charcoal grills indoors with the CO risk.

 

Running all of your stove burners and oven with the door open can lead to problems.

 

You are probably right, there are lots of problems when the power goes out for an extended period like running generators in a closed garage.

 

Happens every time there is a wide spread power outage in the winter. People wake up dead.

I've heated with my gas range before when I didn't have heat back in '11 before I got my stove in the basement and my Generac for the house. That was not fun. Power came back on after 5 hours.

 

They were specifically talking about not using gas stoves to heat homes on the radio a while back.

 

If it came to keeping my pipes from freezing, that gas range is going on and I'll take my wife and child elsewhere.
