    Mornin Hoarders, woke up to howling NW wind. Snow just starting here after a night of rain. Supposed to get 4-8" of snow between now and Monday morning. Fire in the 30 is just right. Coffee is awesome and decisions have to be made as to whether it will be Sour Dough French Toast or Wild Blueberry Pancakes with thick sliced oven roast bacon.................All have a great and safe day with whatever you are up to.

    Be safe! The wind blew stuff all over my yard and knocked out power to part of town last night.... AND IT WAS COLD!

    Go with the french toast and thick bacon.

    No wind to speak of here today. Never enjoyed the wind, especially at night.....supposed to be calm at night....

    Actually I want to get it going so when she does get up it's finished.

    Funny thing happened last night too. I stopped at the local party store and picked up a coke for her after getting take out at the bar. While I was there a very pretty young lady with absolutely zero concept of the English language said " You know where you messed up! You ain't brought me no food" then batted her eyelashes and winked at me..

    I said this is take out for my wife. ( hint hint ) she said "I need give my boy some tips then! :picard: He don't love me right"

    I happen to know the owner of the store and he was in the office laughing and shaking his head quietly....:rofl: :lol:

    I feel a trip to the cottage coming on today. Time in the workshop, putz around a bit, nothing pressing.
    Still have to finish sanding the church pew I re-glued last month. Then stain, then finish.

    Ive had a pretty rough weekend.


    Worked all week, my Dad recently moved away and comes and stays with me on the weekends.
    Well, him and I are nearly opposites, we have alot in commin but we have some major differences.
    Last weekend was a little rough for us.. He went back to Indy for his work week.
    Came here Friday night, i woke up Saturday and had some wood to deliver, eventually had to go
    run a few tow calls. Came back and he was gone. Left my house keys and the laptop i bought him here in my kitchen.

    No phone call, no note, he was gone. So around 10pm i start worrying.. Cant get ahold of him.
    He wont answer or return my calls.
    My fiance is about 4 hours away volunteering at some camp.. I call her, she texts him and he replies.
    He claims he went back to indy and that he is crying.
    So im pizzed.. because he wont answer my calls or return them.
    I call him again, he answers. Wont tell me whats wrong.. So i tell him to bring his arse back to my house.
    He says he'll be here in about an hour and a half since he went back to Indy..
    He didnt go all the way back to Indy, he was 20 minutes away at my Grandma's house......
    And i KNOW that because he had my keys to her house.
    Anyways


    In the mean time.. Around 5pm a good friend of mine got into a car accident and passed away.
    Around midnight the police were done investigating and i took the call to tow his car.
    Extremely hard thing to do..

    I come home.. Dad is here but wont even tell me what is wrong.

    Wake up this morning and our dog is having her puppies.

    So my Friend passed away from a car accident, My Dad is acting like a child, and my dog is giving birth.
