    ADDENDUM.......

Some of this "ash" wound up to be Box Elder. I don't mind Box Elder; but this is the "toughest" box elder I've ever had to split before. This has been in rounds off the ground, and is relatively dry, and more stringy than any elm I've ever dealt with before. Have about a face left to split of it.

    UPDATE!!!!!!

Finally got the "ash" load from my pix split and stacked. As I said in the addendum I posted; some of the wood wound up being "box elder". This was the nastiest, gnarliest, hard splitting box elder I've ever encountered. Still; with a couple wedges and a sledge, I "got 'er done"!!!!

I lied when I said it was about 2 cords....................it only would up being about 1 2/3rds cord of CSSed wood!!!

Looks real good in the stack though!!!

That's close enough to be called about 2 cords!

Heck, there are people put there who have paid for more and got less, no?

Gonna see my "amigo" tomorrow from where I got this wood from; and see if'n he'll spare me another cord or so!!!!
