..Nawww, just kidding. Not going there, but-
While a couple of the previous threads did go there, I wanted to say on my behalf, I appreciate the FHC crew.

Now, can we get back to talking about burning stuff?

Especially on Veterans Day , got way too much respect to do that

Bark up or bark down ? I'd rather just howl at the moon.

    North/South or East/West ? How about diagonal !

Cover your stacks like I do. So far they have withstood sustained winds of 50+ mph which this area had recently and the top cover hasn't moved.
    IMG_4537.JPG
Note the two pieces of rope I have that run through the pallets. Those are tied with a little give to the rope around the entire stack which is between a foot to foot and a half below the top. Then note the 6 ropes across the top tied to the same rope that goes around the entire stack. When the wind blows, it might lift a little looking like one of those hot air balloons but once the wind dies down, it settles back into place. The more wind lift, the tighter the main rope becomes. Added insurance are the two bottom ropes which limit the lift in those areas. And, if the bottom edge of the plastic lifts to the point of folding, it only enhances the holding power of the ropes. The corners of the plastic are folded like hospital corners. I also have another stack covered the same way but is only 10 feet in length.

Sometimes it helps to think outside the box. For perspective, the stack is 20 feet in length. The shorter pieces of rope I had used to tie down tarps.

    Edited to add:
This is my first year covering like this, but so far it seems to be working well.
