When it snows like it did here yesterday, and drops 7"-8", the woods just take on a whole fresh look that I will never get tired of. Can't get enough of it. It's just beautiful… I am a very lucky guy indeed…
Been trying to do just that for 10 minutes… OK… now I gudda go move some a that paradise out of the driveway…
I just happened to snap a few shots of my morning romp in the woods with the hounds this morning. I get to do this everyday whether I want to or not.
Great pictures! Our four legged friends really know what is best for us and every day especially If we listen!
We usually only get freezing rain down here in Georgia. Suprised of this storm in your area. Nice photographs
And in coastal Maine… don't get no better n that! Your woods path looks real nice… bet there's some mighty fine sniffin down there… the dogs are grinnin wicked…
News said this morning that 25 Central Maine Power trucks and crews just left headed your way. They were returning the favor when your power crews came this way about a month ago. Hang in there…
Luckily we got more snow than ice .25" South of here, locals saying worse ice storm ever, and although hundreds of thousands w/o power, '96 is the worst I can remember. Power outages is why I bought a woodstove in the first place. Then a genny. Be safe all...
Nice dogs Dave, are they rescues? This is my latest rescue, she doesn't like the snow as much as my labs, the labs would play all day in the snow, the minute I opened the door and they saw snow they took off like rockets, not this one, but I love her anyway. Actually can't get the pic to post but she's in my avatar.
Not trying to HJ your thread but some more pics, plenty of ice in the trees on day 2. Hopefully you can see the glistening in the tree tops from the sun.
Sun is gaining strength every day, we get 5-1/2 minute more every day now Strong enough here yesterday to make mud out of frozen ground. Got muddy shoes
