Think it had 83 hours on it. I was really lookin for a smaller fishing rig. but couldn't pass up this one for the price. I give 6 thousand for it. I don't think I got ripped. I looked at new ones and they were over 30 grand. This ones got a lot of stuff on it. got a cd weather am fm radio and weatherproof speakers.
Oh No, my racin days are over.lol Doubt it's very fast anyway. it's pretty heavy. didn't get to use it much last year, hopefully it will get a lot of time put on this year. Think I had it up to 50 one time.
Propped and trimmed right that boat should hit 60. I have an old javelin 378. Its 17.??ft and has an old 1990 johnson looper 150GT. It hits 50 but is over propped and can't wind out so I am losing HP lugging it. Can't get much north of 5 grand. It tops out at least 5500. Stepping down 2 pitch I should hit 55. Oh its a fish n ski like yours just 20 years older. Love the old Jonnyrudes and have become a pretty good mechanic on them. But man do they drink fuel !!
I Tell ya I've caught more fish out of a 14 foot flatbottom with a 9.9 mercury than any boat I ever had. easy to launch, can get them about anywhere up in shallow coves. That's kinda what I wanted again except a little longer and about a 30 horse motor. But geez, I looked at some 17 foot flatbottoms that were 18 grand, now they were nice.
No. Low tide & low water in August. Was tempted to try to jump it . No experience doing that though, so we walked up to the salmon hole. Placer River So of Anchorage. Near Portage Glacier. Glacier feed. I think there are other channel that I could've tried, but salmon fishing wasnt' that good. 1st & only time there.
