I was looking at this the other night. I really want a vintage/antique saw for a wall hanger. This ones too new for that purpose, but it's neat. Wish I had the funds to collect these things!

That would be a nice one.

I am currently searching for a few (for the wall) myself. I have an older Homelite coming from HoneyFuzz and a $5 Mac from another member. Both of those should be here this week!

Dex, are you going to paint them up or use them in their natural glory?

I had a couple wall hangers I tried to give away over on AS... they were old Clintons from the 60's I think. They were just about 30lbs a piece - so you best be drilling into studs for these wall hangers.

Couldn't give them away, couldn't get myself a case of beer for them on CL... so on a flier I put them on ebay. Fetched just over $75 for the two and each buyer paid shipping. That's $15 more than I paid for the lot of 7 saws I picked them up with! I kept one and flipped/ bartered & sold the rest.

Not to drive this off topic, but I bought a new shed this past fall and am trying to find some wall hangers for it:

I'd love to get a two man and one man crosscut saws, a few axes, and of course, a nice older chainsaw for it. As it sits right now, it has no interior completed or anything really. I didn't get it until winter started. Threw everything into it to get it of if the way. It's going to be my new tool shed, once some security features are installed.

Amish built I believe. I didn't build it. They came with a truck and dropped it off. When I moved I went from a very large house and a large barn to a very small house with no barn... Too much stuff and no place to go with it. Had to buy something quick to put all this stuff in. I love it but haven't been in it other than to load it up. Been too cold to work in it and no extra hours at either job I work to buy materials. This summer it will be finished off inside with insulation, paneling, and a gas wall heater.
