Thank you sir. I have some more rails but no more of those concrete pipe casing things for piers-gonna use railroad ties stacked 2 high to support the next one---distance off the ground=faster seasoned wood...that one holds a cord...
Thanks GrJfer and thank you for your service. My best friend is a USN Vet and reserve retired SeaBee...he and his Navy mate,, retired CPO, have been rifle hunting my farm for 20+yrs...They served on the Coral Sea among others, my bf did 1 tour of Iraq...We'll be after them Monday the week of Thanksgiving...
25 min south of Charleston-4 lane highway then 3 mi out a secondary rt...quite simple my dear Watson...Hope you are well my friend...
Just remembering your fellow VA hoarder(s)...boot means a lot of things around here...but not the trunk of a car... Now about my rounds???
I have a new piece of rubber roofing 10x10...I'm gonna chalk line it and cut it to 2' wide strips to cover the rail rack at 30' and I'll have 20' left for another single stack...Should I be so excited? My first piece....of rubber roofing...
Can always count on my brethren here...I got that going for me...I'm after Grandaddy Rocking Chair on his head in the morning-rut in full swing here in Almost Heaven...
Thank you yooperdave , the older I get the less it matters-sitting 20' off the ground at sunrise=Priceless...I do my best thinking there...I'm on the right side of the bars and the dirt...everything else is gravy and up to me...good luck to you in the UP this season should you choose to pursue...I find myself just as interested in cutting a load or playing golf...we just get one round...I appreciate you guys-this is the best site I'm sure for like minded and good decent folks...never a word of anything but encouragement and support, sure glad I found it...and we have fun!!!!
My dining room and kitchen have natural hickory flooring, 3/4" thick, 5" wide planks. The stuff is just beautiful!
