I tried moving air with my furnace blower, it doesn't work good at all, even though my stove is close to my return air, floor is a little warmer that's about it, too much heat is lost.
I use small fans on the floor blowing toward the stove room and one small fan on the mantle behind the stove, just behind the single wall pipe (but not blowing right on the pipe) blowing warm air across the ceiling down the hall, works fantastic

Something else I discovered, for my setup anyway, is that the ceiling fan in the stove room kinda creates a door of sorts covering the 5' wide opening into the rest of the house. When ran in reverse, the air moves across the ceiling and down the walls and doesn't let any warm air out of the room.

Now this ceiling is barely 8'. Taller or cathedral ceilings could certainly benefit.

    Experiment. YMMV.

    Exactly what I have found.
    My ceilings are 8 feet
My ceiling fan blowing up on low is okay, it goes pretty slow and just kind of mixes the air some, but, if I put the ceiling fan on medium blowing up the stove room will be nice and toasty but warm air won't move down the hall very well.
With the ceiling fan on low, temperatures in the other end of the house are 2/ 3 degrees different, with the ceiling fan on medium, temperature difference are around 6/7 degrees

Isn't that (WS AS) a radiant stove?

Heat Rises...and Falls — Stack Effect, Air Movement, & Heat Flow

Read the link above but basically I read some more on stack effect.
And one major issue with lower levels is the warm air up at the top
rising will be pulling in cold air in the lower levels. So they say its best
keep the warm air from escaping at the upper levels is the
way to improve that. Not what I first thought and that is to keep
cold air from coming in at the lower levels.

Your stove is acting to pull some cold air in from the lower levels and that air
    exits thru the flue.

You can read more by search for things about stack effect.
