Caffeine. And I need some a couple aspirin or Tylenol for my sore body. LOL Sun is just on its way up. Going out early this morning to get the tools set up and get to work. This long weekend off, and the help I was able to get on Friday and Sunday with my son has really helped make some good progress. Today will begin with fixing a few issues with the peaks of the trusses and then moving onto the the ladders (last two rafter built together and give the overhang on gable end.) These will be trouble getting them out there and into place with only two of us. (Hoping my neighbor will be showing up to help today, that will make two of us.) If that will be too hard we may have to figure out a way to stick build them in place. Wish me luck, and you hoarders have a great and safe day!

Was beautiful here all day too and I was stuck in the warehouse doing electrical work and getting organized/planning for HD shelving . One of the truck bays at my repair shop has turned into storage the last year and it needs emptied before the snow flies. Aggravated that I wasn't out soaking up rays while getting ready for winter at the shop!

I'm a terrible wrench but I do my own fluids and the simple things myself. After getting covered in gear oil plus a little antifreeze and motor oil for good measure, I understand why people just pay someone else.

Kubota service, did the front axle and coolant. Just ponied up for the super UDT2... luckily baby tractor just requires 3.5gals but that plus a filter still runs me an easy $100. At least it will be delivered to my door and I shouldn't need to think about it or a long time after it is done.

Wife's van oil change. Thank you EPA for those new style filters, the old canisters were way to easy for me to change. I needed a new thing to curse at every time it gets done.

I need to get the filter for the ZTR, and I will do that hydro change this coming weekend.

While I'm spending close to 2 bills on all these filters & fluids, I must be saving well over that I'd think by doing the service myself.

Today I am far from doing what I want to be and need to be doing. At work. With the end of (you guessed it) softball, I've been tackling indoor projects that are long overdue. Thankfully I am getting through them. Yet I'd like to get out and CSS now. The sooner I get that load cleared, I can move on to other projects.

Today was spent getting the garage ready for the winter, we switch a few things around and I do have a few more hours of work left so I'll do that this week.

We hit 61 one today so the wife put our Christmas lights up while I was working in the garage.

I took the sleds in so they could go through them, we usually have them looked at every three years.

Hey Stinny , do recall when you posted that hilarious video of two drunk guys trying carry a log on a bicycle? I think it was in April? I cannot locate it. Thanks :)

My neighbor showed up again this morning. :handshake: Fixed a few issues with my peaks today papadave . Now we are good to go there. Then used some 2x4 bracing and made sure we had the tops of the trusses spaced evenly with the distance down on the lower wall. Then went to work on the ladders. Finished the ladders on the end closest to the house and got one section up on the other end. Went to take a picture and says I don't have enough storage. :picard::rofl:

Anywho. Some more progress today. I thought the ladders were going to be tougher, but building them in smaller sections is the answer when bringing then up the ladder. Then longer sections up on loft and pass them through rafters. Time consuming work though. Two guys plugging away slow but sure though.

Ouch, chemical burns. Hope you don't have scaring from it. I should think you would be required to wear protective eyewear when handling caustic substances. You should have a list of precautions for every substance you handle.
