Just so long as Gasifier wife doesn't belong to the "HHC" I think he'll have a little room for wood and tractors!

Grabbed the chainsaw to get some wood yesterday and right after I gassed and oiled it, I would have adjusted the slack in the chain but....the tension screw was completely missing!
Looks like I'll visit the shop tomorrow after work!
I guess its all good, the saw is way over 30 years old after all.

I sneezed and coughed a piece of my gut out after breathing that dust - shaking my head after being a dunce for thinking I could just hurry through the cleaning and deal with it only to give myself a hernia within a couple hours.
Going to see the doctor this week

My 12 y.o. son worked with me the whole day today to help me get the trusses done on the barn. And we put the last one up in the dark! :rootintootin:

Then we went to my parents for a meatloaf, baked potatoes, and tossed salas dinner! What a great day!

The weather was beautiful and my son helped me so much I just could not have gotten it all done without him!:) Very proud Dad here right now. It was even to dark to get a picture. But I will provide one in the morning when the sun comes up on it.

Sorry to hear this basod
IF your gut isn't incarcerated, I'd deal with it as long as poss......I would never have gone under the knife if I could've babied it along and changed my lifting needs.....
If your hernia is an Inguinal, search out some blogs/forums- a lot of fellas claim they'd have waited til the near last minute to get it fixed.
I've recently developed a new abdominal weakness(from coughing, too) but now I just hold that spot when I cough or sense a sneeze. I can't put up with another surgery right now.:faint:

I disagree with this advice. Mine wasn't that bad and no threat to my health whatsoever...but it did impact my quality of life. Get it fixed if it bothers you. The surgery sucks and the recovery is boring...but I feel great now.

I should have included that if open surgery w/ mesh was the only option, I'd wait.
    Lapro- go for it.

I'm glad yours healed up well lukem. Mine not so well, which is why I made my statement, aka- my $.02 :)

    Mine was mesh/open.

Sucks that you are having trouble. I still get a little twing every now and then...but overall a giant improvement versus before the surgery.
