It would be easier if those darn bugs would stop killing the pine, I have another 5-6 that need to be dropped that are in one area so I'll do two next week and then burn them.
I had a mole and a chipmunk show up on the rocks when I was burning today, I think they were wondering why their living quarters were warming up so much.
The Basswood is cleared from the trail, I decided to split it so I'll mix it in with the pine that needs stacking. I should be stacking later this coming week.
Most of the stumps I pulled today were smaller and they had been rotting for about four years. I pulled 12 stumps today with the last being the bigger one (not pictured) after my sister left I went back out to pull three more but never took the picture taker. About four of them were on the walking trail so we won't have to worry about them anymore.
It sure beats cutting them down with a saw. jatoxico ,the real fun begins next year because the wife wants a storage shed built. That will mean about 10-12 pines will need to come down before we can start.
