14 holy cow!Oh but wait is very damp in Maine,I have fished/hunted there many eaons ago.prob. 9 here, never keep close trac,as usually burn stove every month of the year, even if I only use 2 bags in 3 months in summer.
More than any of you - on 10/15/16 I was 11 bags into the season (true, both hoppers were full when I counted). Will have to count tonight to see what the grand total was.
#11 went in last night,im mixin vanderhoof and dry creek 50/50 tryin to get rid of the last 20 bags of dry creek
I can only keep track until I start lugging in bags from the garage or shed. I take a picture of what I have in the basement at the beginning of the season and use that for reference. Of course if I buy more along the way, I have to remember to add those to the total available (like the 4 bags of TSC stuff I got last month). Once I start lugging in from outside the conditioned space though, all bets are off.
I'm keeping better track this year , just using this simple method 10 total broke down by stove and of that 10 I still have about a bag plus in the tub by the Accentra and 1/2 bag in the p43 hopper
7 total for October. (4 bags of GS - 3 bags of Natures own). While I was down counting, I checked the hopper. Put in 1 GS and 1 NO in to kick off November. Edit: BTW, That's one less than last seasons count.
House - 9.5 of either Sets or Blazer for month of Oct. (.5 bag for September) Loft - 1.25 bag of some junk I bought at HD end of last year Very damp in my Geo, surrounded by woods. We have already had a few frosts and the average early morning temp for the last two weeks has been between 38-41. I am ahead by a couple of bags for this time of year vs. last year. Still need some minor painting outside but yard work finished and will detail my RAM 1500 this weekend.
I've taken exactly 30 bags from my stack in the basement. I have about 3 bags left in the hoppers - so right around 27 bags between the two stoves. Most of those were the cr*ppy ThermGlo's that probably couldn't cook hamburgers (seriously), so I expect the useage to go down this month once I start putting better pellets into the P61a.
3 bags in October. Had I not used a little oil heat it might have been 5-6. Had my honey been here all month it would likely have been-oh I dont want to even think about that many and I would have been in shorts
Nope - 68*. I'm not home most of the time so don't need it warmer. I do turn the P43 up to 70 in the morning and then turn it back down to 68 before I leave. The P61 is in the basement and it runs on a regular basis even when the upstairs stove doesn't fire all day. Plus, those TG's only throw luke-warm air (I'm not kidding when I say you couldn't cook a hamburger with those pellets).
