Nice! I like the fact that it will record and save temp & wind extremes. Im thinking now that I will measure the flag pole and mark it in inches and feet to record snowfall. Or maybe attach an aluminum yard stick.

Think you will need a tape measure for snow there! BTW I see you fine on iPhone weather underground app.

I have an old tape measure I will mount on the pole.

Same here nor on my smart phone. Went live late last night on the wunderground app! What's cool is, the personal weather stations can accurately give me info in the ever changing weather here, that the usual weather source cannot.

Well Seasoned , how does the weather station attach to the top of the metal pole?

These are really cool. When I check your weather, it tells me in Celsius so I don't have to do the conversion.

The station has been working really well and is extremely acurite. With this freezing rain however, i had to give it a shake to get the ice off so it would read the wind speed.

    Well Seasoned,
Thanks for posting. I'm looking into one of these stations myself. Keep us posted on how it holds up.

Hi weather watchers, my Acu-rite was ruined in wind and probably a couple microbursts too, it didn't work that well anyway out here, 1" of snow swirling around would set off the precip gauge to like 9" of liquid but it was just the same 1" of snow being counted over and over again. Anyway it's coming down in a couple weeks when the roofers are here, any parts or pieces off it you could use ? (the wind vane is broke). I don't know what happened to the indoor led display but I'll post it here too if it shows up.
