Some good progress today. My neighbor came down after I finished moving some firewood in the house and we went to work.

Finished up the other gable wall and then built and put up the whole front wall on the loft! A good day of work.

It's 25 this morning, for some reason I never made the overnight fire last night so the coffee is tasting better this morning.

Mornin' Hoarders, 32 here this a.m.. Supposed to get rain and even thunder showers later today and tonight. Supposed to warm up to the low 50's later, as well. Morning ritual underway, then out to the shop to for ????. Later this afternoon, we are off to get the annual flu shot, (yeah, I know, the discussion has already been had about them). Mentally prepping for the big game this evening, great series so far. Everybody have a great day and stay safe...............

Thanks, Horkn. Pain wasn't too bad after a pain pill. I actually had a good night's sleep. It's a little sore this morning.

No fire last night, so when I awoke at 5 am for a pitstop, the house was cool enough for a fire.:)
Put in a few small splits, got it going and went back to bed.........until 9. :hair: WTH?
Anyway, busy day today of getting the Jeep worked on. I want to change the oil too, before it goes to grandson.
Maybe I should just have the mechanic do it, although I've done every one since we bought it 7.5 years ago. That's a lot of oil and filters, now that I think about it.

I am back!!! No internet for a day and half! Aggggh! I have a feeling that the tech had to rewire everything from where it comes onto our street to and into the house. Maybe our phone reception will be better as well.

The weather cooperated today and I was able to dedicate 4 hours this afternoon to the barn. My neighbor heard me working and came down to help out. What a great guy.

We built the other wall on the back side of the loft and have everything tied together now. We are ready to start the rafters!:rootintootin:

Spent a little time after work cleaning up the back yard. Also got a little cutting done with my 450 Rancher. The bark is falling off a lot of the elm :). Not a lot done but it all adds up.

While I did the cutting, Flicka did the stacking. She is a talented dog indeed!
