I think this is a very gooder idea - maybe the goodest ever!

I'd like to suggest another rule - it should be hand delivered each time it changes hands. I can't even find the words to express how great its been to meet all of you guys in person. :handshake: Everyone Ive met from FHC have been just top notch folks. I think most of us already feel that way about this community we've built here, but there's just a little something lost in this type of format. Meeting in person and sharing food and drink, you just get to know someone so much better. And I highly recommend getting to know the sort of quality folks you can find here. :)

Thanks so much for the hospitality Mr and Mrs DexterDay. ThanksChristmas dinner (Turkey AND Ham!!!) was amazing. I wish I had left room for dessert!

Hope the sign can make the trip to my place soon!

Thanks for the kind words Shawn! You are good people in my book. And I can't agree more about the meeting, eating, etc with other members.

We didn't cut any Wood or do any work. And that's the reason that I didn't think many would come. But we all had a good time!!

I'm gonna add a hanging kit to it.

Brad, I'd like you to sign it before I pass the torch. So I plan to have a Spring GTG.

The hanging kit is so I can place it above my fireplace. And for anyone else that doesn't have a large hearth (or a Hearth at all).

Shawn great idea and so true! I should have made that clear but felt given the size of the sign it was a given that it wouldn't be shipped.

Will it was a pleasure to share my shine with you and all the members this weekend! I look forward to the day we can do it again my friend!:handshake:

Opps I totally meant to sign it before I left. I guess I must have forgot. Darn I'll have to come back down there now!

Great idea to add the hanging kit and picks when you get it hung or it didn't happen!

I'm not sure I did a gooder job of making this clear in the original post, but this sign now belongs to this community. I make no more claim of ownership upon it. So yes kind of like our Stanley Cup.:salute:

If we treat it with the care and respect that we give to this place it should last many many years!

I'd like to make one more suggestion. Maybe this should be a sticky so it doesn't get buried and difficult for future caretakers to find. What say you all?

Very well said Shawn. I've been sitting here wondering just what and how to write about the weekend and the hospitality we all received. It was great meeting some old friends and adding a few more!

I can hardly believe the food that was served either! Fit for a King! And lots of it too. Like a Thanksgiving dinner followed by a Christmas dinner. Delicious too.

I'm out of words to say what it was like this last weekend but needless to say, we all enjoyed ourselves.
