I swore off VS cigars a couple years ago due to my inability to enjoy any of the ones I tried.

Caved in and tried one of these today.

seems I saw on the news that it may soon be possible to legally buy Cuban cigars in the states again

 

People have been getting Cubans shipped to their houses for years now. Cuban cigars are definitely not what they once were anyway so trust me it won't change the market much.

The ones I had back in the 90's and also in recent years left me wondering what the big hullabaloo was about.

 

Some are a real smoking experience but I would say 90% are nothing different than whatbyou can get from currently available "legal" Cigars. I'm a Nicaraguan guy and think they are some of the best Cigars right now. To each their own sir.

I agree with you both about Nicaraguan cigars. Some of the best around. I remember Cuban Cohibas having an earthy quality, but like was said, there are plenty of others around.

 

I got a ton of pipe baccy if you wanna give the old corn cob a go

For pipe tobacco, I like lane 1-Q. Mild and aromatic.

How was the tattoo?

 

Strong. Nic kick right to the no no's but a little soda cleared that right up. For pipe baccy I love orlik golden sliced.

Well, its been almost a month since you ordered those. I bet you've tried one or two by now. What'cha think of 'em?

I did not win a bid on the CI Fresh rolled Cuban Wheels, so I can not offer an opinion on them....yet.

 

You know, I received those a while ago now, but have yet to try one. I have a lot of older stuff in the humidor that I've been working on first, and let these newbies settle a bit. They were very fresh when I got them, you could tell they were rolled recently.

I'll tell you what, I'm going to work outside in a few minutes... I'll grab one and give her a shot for you and report back later today.

 

I had one on my way in to work this a.m. with some coffee from a holiday gas station. Must've been a good combo ! That and it was the first cigar in over a week.

 

Lane 1-Q was the first pipe baccy I smoked some thirty years ago.

OGS is nice. Got a couple tins aging.

 

Yup! First time was around 84 or so!
