Amazon has contracted with USPS to deliver all of their packages. No more FedEx or UPS. Walmart is negotiating to do the same.

I can't see in there either. A lot of ash builds up around the igniter that a vacuum doesn't get. A lot will build up deep inside where the vacuum won't reach. I haven't had an issue with my igniter doing this. It's more around the igniter than on it.

For me digging out the igniter area is only needed when using hardwood pellets that have a gritty ash that doesnt want to come out and then its either finger in the hole time or using the tool I got from nailed_nailer id its stubborn.

Subbie, when doing any cleaning of the firebox, I just leave my shop vac hose hanging in there and I stay clean that way.

Larry, as long as you are careful of the wires there shouldnt be an issue.

I do the same thing. And then I bang the scraper on the pot and wathc more ash come out of the igniter. Bang on the pot until not much falls, then scoop that out with my fingers too. Oh, and I reach way back and make sure the air intake chamber is not blocked.

The igniter is actually held pretty well in a casing, and the igniter is pretty sturdy anyway, so you really don't have to worry about it - you will feel it way before you can do any damage. Now, if you are sticking a screw driver in there, then I would be careful.

Will that be just the supplies that Amazon has in their warehouse? Lots of their items come from another company. Also, some of their items are huge. not what the post office is set up for.

Depends, I got my TV via fed ex, my last order of cat kibble via UPS. The deal with USPS was for Sunday delivery for Prime accounts the last I knew. I don't have a copy of the contract so don't know the entire deal.

P61A here... I usually put my finger in the compartment and dig out the sandy like ash. goes as far as my finger will let me on both sides. Occasionally I will hit the Ignitor with can of compressed air... Note: only AFTER the finger cleaning.. got a mouthfull one time and wised up.:picard:
lot of ash sits 'forward' in the compartment..[towards me]... I also hold a paper plate under the compartment so as to catch the ash saving me
having to vacuum it on the stove floor... lazy way but effective. I do this a few times in-between cleanings if I notice it taking a bit longer for pellets to ignite.

No it's not a pond , it's a creek , the pic is a deep pool that has built up behind a natural rock dam .

Here's the same pool area after a flood , you can see the debris line in the lawn water was about 2' over the top of that bridge as nice an tranquil it looked today it can turn into a mean biotch real fast.
