    Was cold & now bugs today, got up to 34° at the cutting area.

    38° with 40 mph winds at home,
    off loading in the wind was a PIA

    Dave has to be extra clean and organized due to the distance he has to go to collect firewood. That's my thought, but Dave just may be a neat freak. ;)

    "Neat freak" LOL
    I'm finally in some straight trees without twists , rotten centers.
    I cut one with no limbs for about 20 feet, less limbing at this cutting area/
    Trees are closer to the road, straighter & healthier. Liking it so far (all but longer drive )

    But yea ; now that I look at the pic , it sure stacks & looks nice in the trailer,
    Hoping I get some straight splits so I can post stacks
    like youns with all the straight grained oak , maple & ash.

    Back in Preston county , Dad & I had a favorite hickory grove for gray squirrels.
