    It sure is a shame to loose all those apples, semi should buff right out with a little compound.....might need a front end alignment too.

    Yes I agree Larry, it is a shame and will be costly to the orchard owner and the semi owner if they are not one in the same.

    I'm just glad apple prices aren't as volatile as gas prices. A catastrophe like this would cause gas to go up $0.40 for a week.

    I don't know that they can do much of anything with them. Any apples that hit the ground can't be harvested/sold. Kind of a waste, but that's the way it is.

    The storage facility where the apples came from is about 3 miles from my house. Can't be good for the farmer.
