    However, the western mountain ranges were mentioned like in half of the questions.

    I also don't consider Mexico to be North America. I consider Mexico to be Central America.

    I love going to Mexico though, I consider NAFTA to be me spending my US dollars in favorable exchange rates to pesos while on vacation.

    I agree about Central America region- guess I didn't get the memo that NA went straight to SA....
    Then again, we were all taught more stuff in school back then, and perhaps this common core system doesn't want to overload the urchins these days by including another region to remember the name of in geography.
