I don't know about the rest of you, but I wait all week to break out the saws etc. everyone be safe and get cutting, splitting,and stacking
Just this for me today, if the farmer ever cuts his corn I may go cut and haul some....I could get to some another way but I'm afraid I might have to pass some bow hunters so I'm being respectful. I said that to the farmer the other day and his response was, yeh they might kick a deer to you while you are cutting.
Hauled another 1/2 cord and put it through the wood chute to the basement. Got it stacked. Going to get another half around noon. I am going out to the woods now to cut a couple for next years supply. Have fun out there!
Oh yeah, I remember those days. Now I just wait until hunting season is over and the weather is cold.
Yep, Work gets in the way of fun cutting wood is work for some, fun for many of us, but we're nuts Have fun !
I only got to cut for a little over an hour, got wrapped into a family apple picking trip. Made a few rounds and made one log pile smaller.....
Been splitting and stacking since Thursday evening when I jumped out of my van after work. I'm tired...
