    Was gone for some family time down at the Ocean for the last 5 days. Got back home today and the house was 59 degrees. After getting settled and tending to the dogs and what not figured I would light the first fire.

    Was a beautiful day out but just wanted to have a small fire inside to warm up a few degrees. In my haste and having to also watch my son I didnt think of the poor draft. Needless to say I filled the house with smoke and felt like a complete noob!:headbang::doh::headbang:

    Got it straight, just had to warm that flue up some to get a decent draft, but man did that make me feel dumb. Only took the cat 10 minutes to reclaim his winter spot!
